Taslima Nasreen Appeal To Amit Shah: Bangladeshi writer Taslima Nasreen is once again in the headlines. He has sought help from Home Minister Amit Shah. He has appealed to Amit Shah for help on his X handle (formerly Twitter). He wrote on X that his Indian residence permit had expired in July and the Home Ministry was not renewing it.

He described India as his second home. He said that he is very upset that his permit is not being renewed. Taslima has Amit Shah Requested that if the government would allow her to stay in India, she would be thankful to them.

Taslima Nasreen told that her residence permit in India had expired on 27th July. After this, despite several attempts, it has not been renewed by the Government of India.

She is originally from Bangladesh but had to leave the country due to her constant criticism of communalism and Islamic fundamentalists on women’s equality in Bangladesh.
