Singh’s close friend Bhakti Soni has told ETimes about the poor financial condition of Gurucharan Singh. He revealed, “He had a debt of around Rs 1.2 crore. However, his father has assets worth Rs 55 crore. But unfortunately, there is a dispute going on because the tenants are not vacating the property. If the matter is resolved and the property can be sold, they will be able to repay their loan.
Singh’s friend further claimed that the actor has exhausted all his savings and said, “When he needs support the most, no one, including his family members, is helping him. It is only friends like me and a friend from Delhi who are supporting him financially.
The decision to do business ruined it
Let us tell you that in July 2024, Gurucharan Singh had confessed to facing financial struggles. Speaking to Bombay Times, he told that he left Mumbai during the coronavirus pandemic in 2020 and decided to start his own business. However, this did not work out due to various reasons, due to which he faced a lot of financial struggles and was “very upset”.
He further said, “I am asking people from the industry to support me. I am back and want to do a lot of work. I also want to repay all the debts I have one by one, this can be done through my work and I am ready to work hard. The 51-year-old actor had said, “I have realized that I can continue my spiritual journey even while fulfilling my other responsibilities in life.”
