Protesters burnt Supreme Court building

It was not known when the protest started against social media ban on 8 September in Nepal. The protesters set fire to several government offices including the Supreme Court, Parliament House, President’s Office. Not only this, he beat the deputy PM and the Finance Minister on the road and beat him. Attacked the house of former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba. Former Prime Minister Jhalanath Khanal’s wife was locked inside the house and set fire to him, in which he died. The violence increased so much that many ministers fled from Kathmandu and took refuge in calm areas. Seeing the anger of the protesters, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli resigned, after which the interim government has now been formed.
