The reality made headlines due to more off-screen controversies than her on-screen work and once got into a legal dispute with Shahid Kapoor. Raj Kumar’s daughter Reality Pandit was publicly spotted for the first time after the death of her father. She was seen at his brother Puru’s film launch in 1996. Reality Pandit also tried to walk on the footsteps of his family and worked in films but did not succeed and she appeared in some flop films.

Shahid lodged a complaint against the police against reality
Reality Pandit made the most headlines due to his alleged passion for Shahid Kapoor. The two first met at Shyamak Davar’s acting studio. Reality was so impressed with Pandit Shahid Kapoor that he not only described himself as his number one fan, but also followed him. The situation deteriorated so much that in 2012, Shahid Kapoor lodged a complaint at the Versova police station in Mumbai that Aasita Pandit is harassing him.

Shahid Kapoor had told the police that whenever he used to get out of the house, the reality Pandit often stopped his path and used to sit on the bonnet of his car and repeatedly said that he is his biggest fan.

At that time, a source told PTI, “She started living in the house next to her building, presenting herself as his wife, stopping the way to her car and even goes with her during shooting.”

The matter increased so fast that the reality Pandit had to do solitude and stopped appearing on the published places. Media reports have said that the police could not detect it despite many efforts and the final fact was declared missing.
