Getting used to a new app can be tricky, and Zerodha co-founder Nithin Kamath recently found himself in this exact situation while trying to navigate Instagram. Taking to X (formerly Twitter), he shared his amusing struggle of figuring out the platform’s various features, along with screenshots of his conversation with his team.

The chat revealed his confusion over Instagram’s different content formats, as he asked, “WTH is stories on Instagram? Stories, reels, post—WTF?” His team responded with laughter, attempting to explain the differences. However, additional mentions of features like communities and carousel posts only left him more perplexed.

Baffled by the complexity, Nithin asked, “What! How are people not confused with all this?”

The situation escalated when his brother and Zerodha co-founder, Nikhil Kamath, asked him to share a post. Unsure whether to post it as a story or a regular post, Nithin found himself in yet another dilemma. Seeing his struggle, a team member even suggested holding an “Instagram session” to guide him through the platform.
