In a post written roughly three years ago on the Reddit community “r/TrueOffMyChest”, the woman, then 40 years old, recounted the discovery that shattered her world – an affair between her husband and her own mother that lasted over 22 years. In the recent update, it is mentioned how the discovery changed her life and the lives of her father and her siblings.
In a brief recap, the woman mentioned her relationship with her husband (now, ex-husband) which began innocently enough; they were teenage sweethearts since the age of 15 and got married after she became pregnant at 17. Her supportive parents welcomed the couple into their home. Later, her father bought a house next door for his daughter and son-in-law to live in, cementing the bond between the two families.
