South Africa A squad for India tour announced: Full list of players for unofficial Tests and One-Dayers


Cricket South Africa on Thursday announced its A squad for the upcoming tour to India, beginning with two four-day unofficial Tests in Bengaluru from October 30.

The second four-day game will be played from November 6 to 9. Both games will be played at the BCCI Centre of Excellence. The teams will then play a three-match one-day series in Rajkot from November 13 to 19.

The tour will be a prelude to the senior men’s team’s tour to India, which visits India later in November. Test and WTC-winning captain Temba Bavuma will mark his return from injury in the second unofficial Test.

India A is yet to announce its squads.

Squad for unofficial Tests: Marques Ackerman, Temba Bavuma*, Okuhle Cele, Zubayr Hamza, Jordan Hermann, Rubin Hermann, Rivaldo Moonsamy, Tshepo Moreki, Mihlali Mpongwana, Lesego Senokwane, Prenelan Subrayen, Kyle Simmonds, Tsepo Ndwandwa, Jason Smith, Tiaan van Vuuren, and Codi Yusuf.

Squad for One-Days: Marques Ackerman, Ottneil Baartman, Yenrn Fortuin, Jordan Hermann, Rubin Hermann, Kwena Maphaka, Rivaldo Moonsamy, Tsheko Mongo Moonsamy, Tsheko Mo Tsheko Monsamy, Mihlali Mirirwana, Nqaba Peter, Delano Potgieter, Lhuan-Dre Pretorius, Sinethemba Qeshile, Jason Smith, and codi Yusuf.
