
Man Sentenced for Jail in Singapore: According to the report of Singapore’s Local News Outlet Channel News Asia, an Indian citizen was sentenced to a 7 -month -old jail for entering his neighbor’s house and tampering with a woman. 26 -year -old Erakodon Abhinaraj, accused in the molestation case, accepted his crime. According to the report, the incident took place on 22 September, 2024. Abhinaj knew the reason for the woman being a neighbor, who had met the woman many times.

According to the report, on the morning of September 22, 2024, when a 36 -year -old woman was sleeping in her husband’s master bedroom, Abhinaraj crossed the balcony connecting two flats and entered the house via the kitchen window. During this time the woman’s daughter was sleeping in another room of the house. Abhinaj burnt the flashlight of his phone and moved towards the woman’s master bedroom and started touching her.
In the report, Deputy Public Prosecutor Kathy Chu was quoted as saying, “When the woman turned to the left to see her husband, he saw that he was sleeping. Surprisingly, when he turned to his right, he saw that the accused Abhinaj was holding the phone in his hand, whose flashlight was burning. ” After that the woman shouted loudly and woke her husband, who faced Abhinaraj during this time.
During this time, the scared Abhinaraj urinated inside the room and started requesting the woman’s husband not to call the police. However, he called the police.
Allegations of touching a woman refused
According to the report, Abhinaraj, accused in the case, confessed to entering the woman’s house, but he denied the allegation of touching the woman and said that her phone had fallen to the ground, due to which the woman had opened her sleep.
Prosecutor demanded punishment for accused
The prosecutor demanded a jail sentence of about 6 to 8 months for the accused Abhinaraj. He said that when this incident happened, the woman was sleeping in an unsafe situation. Apart from this, she urinated inside a woman’s house, which is a matter of disabilities for a woman.
Counsel for the accused argued
After this, the lawyer of the case accused Abhinj’s lawyer argued that he comes from a normal Indian family and demanded a 7 -month sentence for him. He further said that Abhinaraj’s grandmother died of suicide, which also affected the mental state of the accused.
In response, the prosecutor said that in the investigation of the Institute of Mentor Health, there was no mental problem in Abhinaraj.
