This was certainly the case for one young boy who, displeased with his mother’s actions, decided to take matters into his own hands and seek justice. This amusing incident has recently taken the internet by storm.
A Mother’s Crime
It appears that in the United States of America, a 4-year-old boy dialled the emergency services to report his mother’s wrongdoing. Upon answering the call and hearing the child’s complaint, the police promptly dispatched a unit to his residence. “You need to arrest my mummy. She’s being naughty!” he exclaimed.
According to a CNN report, this comical event unfolded in Wisconsin, USA. On March 4, Officers Gardinier and Ostergard received a 911 call from a distressed-sounding 4-year-old boy, who insisted his mother was up to no good and should be apprehended.
Truth Comes To Light
The officers, using the phone’s location, arrived at the boy’s home to find a rather unexpected scene. It transpired that the mother’s transgression was simply enjoying an ice cream. When questioned by the police, the mother confirmed that she had indeed indulged in the sweet treat.
However, the officers remained present to ensure that the situation was as innocent as it appeared.
