One of the rescued girls revealed that her hand was deliberately set on fire as punishment for accidentally burning a roti while cooking.

A shocking prostitution racket was busted by the police in Uttar Pradesh’s Moradabad city. Reportedly, a woman named Pinki ran a brothel under the guise of a cowshed in Majhola’s Kashiram Nagar. Three girls were rescued from the house of the woman, who, along with her associates, had reportedly kept them captive there and had forced them into prostitution.
According to police officials, Pinki, with the help of her aide Sachin, used to trap vulnerable girls from railway stations, bus stands and other public places. The young girls, most of whom were either helpless or runaways, were then brought to her house and confided in it. During the day, Pinki pretended that the girls were brought in to work in the cowshed. However, when the night fell, the place turned into something else. Customers visited the brothel one after the other until late in the night.
The Girls Were Tortured If They Asked To Go Outside
The victims, who were rescued, described the cruelty they suffered at the hands of Pinky and her associates. A girl from a town called Joya from UP’s Amroha district revealed that she was locked up at Pinky’s house for a year, as reported by Amar Ujala. Another girl from Bihar was trapped there for two months, and a third one for three months. They told the police that whenever they talked about going outside or called for help, Pinki tortured them. She would play loud music to cover their cries and mercilessly beat them up. They were not even allowed to speak to each other.
One Girl Shared Her Hand Was Set On Fire For Burning A Roti
One victim broke down while narrating her ordeal to the lady police officials on Thursday, August 21. She recalled that once she had burned a roti while cooking, which had made Pinki and a man named Vijay Thakur extremely furious. Following this, the latter poured oil over her hand and set it on fire, leaving her badly injured. She was beaten brutally. And the torture did not end there.
She also alleged that Sachin, Vijay and a third man named Avneesh repeatedly sexually assaulted her and continued it till late in the night. She told the police that Avneesh even forced her to drink alcohol and then sexually assaulted her. Besides this, she was even forced to do household chores during the day and faced torture and sexual abuse at night.
As of now, police have arrested Pinky, Sachin and others involved in the racket. Investigations revealed that they had ruined the lives of several young girls through this illegal trade. Police are recording the statements of the girls and are further carrying out their investigations.
