Senior Women’s T20 Trophy 2025: Kiran Navgire powers Maharashtra to win with 34-ball century; Shafali Verma leads Haryana to victory


Opener Kiran Navgire smashed a 34-ball century to guide Maharashtra to a facile nine-wicket win over Punjab in the Senior Women’s T20 Trophy 2025 on Friday at the VCA Stadium in Nagpur.

Chasing 111, Kiran ended unbeaten on 106 off 35 balls, a knock which included 14 fours and seven sixes. The chase was wrapped up within eight overs.

Amongst other matches, India international Shafali Verma had contributions with both the bat and ball to help Haryana to a 40-run win over Hyderabad.

Shafali smacked a 13-ball 39 to help her side get to 166 for four in 20 overs before taking two wickets for 16 runs in her four overs.

In the Plate final, Sikkim beat Nagaland by 10 runs with the former’s skipper Sarika Koli scoring a half-century to help post 131 on the board, before bowler Tabita Subba starring with a three-wicket haul.
