According to ticket selling platform BookMyShow, the comedian is set to perform at Shanmukhunanda Hall in Mumbai’s Sion area on March 27 as part of his Unfiltered India Tour.

India’s Got Latent Controversy: Stand-up comedian Samay Rainawho is currently in the headlines over his YouTube show ‘India’s Got Latent’, is scheduled to perform in Mumbai on March 27.
According to ticket selling platform BookMyShow, the comedian is set to perform at Shanmukhunanda Hall in Mumbai’s Sion area on March 27 as part of his Unfiltered India Tour. As of now (February 13), over 11 thousand people have shown their interest to attend or know more about the event.
Meanwhile, Raina has reportedly cancelled his Gujarat shows after the controversy over influencer Ranveer Allahbadia‘s recent comments on Raina’s show, India’s Got Latent, got escalated.
The Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) on Wednesday claimed that the stand-up comedian is no longer scheduled to perform in Gujarat and his show tickets have been taken down from BookMyShow. VHP spokesperson Hitendrasinh Rajput claimed that Raina had planned four shows in the state. Reportedly, he was supposed to perform in Surat on April 17, in Vadodara on April 18 and in Ahmedabad on April 19 and 20.
Raina, who is currently in the US for his shows, has been asked by the Maharashtra Cyber Cell to to appear before it on February 17 to join the probe regarding the case. On Wednesday, Raina’s lawyer informed the Maharashtra Cyber Cell that the comedian is currently in the United States (US) and will return on March 17. Raina has also requested the Cyber Cell to allow him time till March 17 to appear in person.
Additionally, the Assam Police team is going from Mumbai to his house in Balewadi area in Pune. The cops will serve notice at his house, asking him to appear in Guwahati within in four days.
Meanwhile, Raina has removed all episodes of the show from his YouTube channel, days after it landed in the controversy. In his first response, he asserted that he will fully cooperate with all the probe agencies in their investigation.
A massive row got triggered after Allahbadia, also known as Beerbiceps, asked a contestant about the “size of his p****” and even offered Rs 2 crore if he “sucked his d***”. But he didn’t stop there. He went on to pose an outrageous question lifted from a recent episode of a YouTube show. The question was: “Watch your parents have sex every day for the rest of your life. Or would you join in once and stop it forever?”
