The Maha Kumbh, which began last month, continues to draw a massive crowd with devotees from all over the country gathering at the Triveni Sangam in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. Considered the world’s largest religious gathering, the event holds deep spiritual significance as pilgrims take a holy dip believed to wash away their sins. While the focus remains on rituals and devotion, this year’s Maha Kumbh has also brought several unexpected and lighthearted moments that have caught the attention online. One such viral moment that has delighted social media users is a video of sadhus playing cricket at the Maha Kumbh.
The clip, which has been widely shared online, was originally posted on X by a user named Jitendra Pratap Singh. The sadhus are seen confidently swinging their bats as they hit fours and sixes. The crowd cheered for them and recorded the lively match on their phones.
