Ruckus over the delay in entrance results in Jamia Milia Islamia, administration said – ‘All tracks

The entrance exam of the post graduate course has been done in Delhi’s well-known university Jamia Millia Islamia, but the wait for the results is still going on. On social media, students have started raising questions about this. Many students say that earlier it was said that the result will come after 10-15 days of the examination, but now more than a month has passed and there is no update on the university website.

But when the university’s Chief PRO and Professor Syama Saeed were asked about this, he said everything is on the track. There is no delay. 20-25 days are normal time for the result and we are faster than the rest of the university. Many of our exams have been done in multi-city, whose results take time to prepare.

What is the displeasure of the students?

The students allege that the entrance schedule was already declared, but the dates of the results were not cleared. Many courses examinations were held in the last week of April and early May, so the announcement of the results so far is worrying the students. Interviews or group discussions are also to be held in many courses, for which it is necessary to get the first result.

What does official document say?

According to Jamia’s official entrance test schedule, it has been decided to declare the result within 20 to 25 days after every exam. That is, if the paper of a course has been done on May 1, then its result should have come by 25 May. But now the middle of June has passed and the restlessness of students is increasing.

Students’ appeal

Students are appealing to the university administration to declare fixed dates of the results so that the preparation of the interview and further plan can be made.
