Donald Trump Speech: Republican leader Donald Trump was sworn in as the 47th President of the United States of America (USA) on Monday (January 20, 2025). The swearing-in ceremony was held at 12:00 pm US time in the Rotunda of the US Capitol Building. Trump took oath for the second time in the presence of wife Melania and children. 1. Donald Trump promised to take back the Panama Canal. He said that 38,000 Americans died during the construction of the canal. He also claimed that the canal is being operated by China. During his inaugural address, Trump said that giving control of the canal to Panama was a stupid gift and promised to take it back.
2. Trump declared national emergency on the southern borders. He also said that all illegal entries would be stopped and that they would begin the process of deporting criminal elements back to Mexico. He said he would treat criminal gangs as foreign terrorist organizations.
3. US President Trump also talked about the challenges he faced during the presidential election, including an assassination attempt, and said that he was saved by God to make America great again. He also said that January 20 is independence day for all Americans.
