Asked for an appointment with the Union Minister

Pradeep Shetty, Vice President of The Federation of Hotel and Restaurant Association of India, said that we have sought time from the Union Commerce Ministry to present our views. The union is also trying to meet Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal next week. We are urging implementation of the e-commerce rule in its letter and spirit. Both e-commerce players cannot develop their own private product brands in place of product delivery from partner restaurants.
