They might not be leading the Constructor’s standings in Formula 1 this year, but Red Bull are still a force to reckon with. As the teams prepared for another triple-header — the last of the season — Red Bull arrived at a Las Vegas Hotel in some style.
Ahead of the much-anticipated Las Vegas Grand Prix, the Milton Keynes-based team shared a video in which a man, dressed in a racing suit, drives a Red Bull car into the parking of a hotel and hands over the steering wheel to the valet.
Taken aback by the unexpected event, the man looked at the steering wheel and perhaps wondered what to do with it. “Don’t mind us requesting an early check-in,” read the caption of the post shared by Red Bull USA on Instagram.
The video was accompanied by a line that read, “Valet didn’t know what to do.”
Reacting to the hilarious post, one social media user commented, “So did he park it or crash it?”
“Probably the first time he’s been handed the steering wheel instead of keys,” read another response.
“I legit think he thought for a few seconds. Could I give it a go? How hard can it be,” said another person.
“No way I’m passing on that opportunity, you gave me the wheel imma take it for a ride. Hopefully it doesn’t have a valet mode,” commented another Instagram user.
“What a wholesome and fun prank! Did the valet get a picture with you guys, at least?” read another comment.
Coming back to the Formula One circuit, Red Bull are third in the standings. They are 49 points behind Mclaren, currently leading the Constructors battle. For Red Bull, Max Verstappen, with eight race wins so far, is leading the driver’s championship.
McLaren and Ferrari have each emerged victorious on five occasions.
