Recruitment to the posts of Village Development Officer in this state, application process will start soon

Rajasthan vdo recruitment 2025: There is a great news for the youth dreaming of development of villages in Rajasthan. Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB), Jaipur has issued a notification for the recruitment of 850 posts of Village Development Officer (VDO). What is age limit?

The age of the candidate applying for these posts should be between 18 and 40 years. According to government rules, candidates of reserved class of Rajasthan will get age relaxation. 5 years discount to male candidates of general category women, SC/ST, OBC, EWS. At the same time, women candidates of these classes will get 10 years discount.

What should be educational qualification?

For the post of Village Development Officer, the candidate should have a degree of graduation from a recognized university. Also, O Level Computer Certificate or Diploma in Computer Science/Application is also required​ Is.

What is the application fee?

The candidate will have to pay the application fee. The fee for general category, creamy layer OBC and MBC has been kept at Rs 600. While non -creamy layer is a fee of Rs 400 for OBC, MBC, SC, ST, Divyang. Fees will be paid online.

How will the selection be?

Candidates will be selected on the basis of written examination. A total of 160 multiple choice questions will be asked in the examination, which will be of 200 marks.

The main points of the exam

Subject: Hindi-English language knowledge, mathematics, general knowledge, geography of Rajasthan, agriculture and economic resources, history-culture and basic computer
Exam duration: 3 hours
Negative marking: 1/3 marks will be deducted on every wrong answer.

The process of online application for this post is starting from 19 June 2025 and candidates will be able to apply by 18 July 2025. To apply, you have to go to the official website of Rajasthan Employees Selection Board rssb.rajasthan.gov.in.
