Recruitment of driver posts in Rajasthan, these candidates can apply

The application process for recruitment to the posts of driver has been started by Rajasthan State Employees Selection Board (RSSB). This recruitment is being organized to meet the shortage of drivers in government departments. Interested candidates are informed that the applications have started from 27 February 2025 and the final date has been set on 28 March 2025.

Through this recruitment, a total of 2756 driver posts will be filled in various departments of Rajasthan. Of these, 2602 posts are reserved for non -scheduled areas and 154 posts are reserved for scheduled areas.

Educational qualification

To join this recruitment, the candidates are required to pass the secondary or its equivalent examination from the recognized board. Apart from this, the candidate should have a valid driving license for driving light or heavy transport vehicles and should also have at least three years experience as a driver.

Age limit

The minimum age of the candidate has been fixed at 18 years and the maximum age of 40 years for participating in the recruitment. Reserved category candidates will get exemption in age limit as per rules.

Application fee will have to be paid so much

To join the recruitment, the general and the candidates of the OBC (creamylair) category will have to submit an application fee of Rs 600. At the same time, the fee for all other categories candidates has been fixed at Rs 400.

Selection process and exam

To be selected in this recruitment, candidates have to appear in one of the Computer Based Examination (CBT), Tablet based Examination (TBT) or offline examination (OMR). The examination will be conducted from 22 to 23 November 2025.

• To apply, the candidates can apply by visiting the official website of RSSB.
• To complete the application process, first ‘One Time Registration’ (OTR) has to be done.
• After which the candidate will have to fill the application form by filling the personal details.
• Only after submitting the application fee, the form can be finally submitted.
