What is the whole matter?
The legal battle that started in 2016 between Kangana Ranaut and Javed Akhtar is now over. The dispute started on the basis of a meeting held at Akhtar’s residence in March 2016. At that time, there was a lot of discussion to Ranaut and actor Hrithik Roshan Beach, which had later turned into controversy. Akhtar, who was allegedly close to Roshan, had a meeting with Ranaut and allegedly asked him to apologize to Roshan.
Kangana Ranaut did not respond at that time. But in 2020, when the alleged suicide case of actor Sushant Singh Rajput was going on, Ranaut told about the 2016 meeting with Akhtar during a television interview. Akhtar found this interview derogatory and later filed a defamation complaint against Ranaut. The legal dispute increased further when Ranaut also filed a complaint against Akhtar, alleging that he tried to pressurize him to apologize.
