‘Rani-Kajol has also done this’, director said in support of Deepika Padukone’s 8-hour shift

Siddharth P Malhotra On 8 Hours Shift: Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone Sandeep Reddy Wanga’s film ‘Spirit’ went out. The director claimed that the actress was demanding an 8 -hour shift. Now director Siddharth P Malhotra has also supported the actress and said that many actresses have done this before.

Director Siddharth P Malhotra recently gave an interview to IANS. During this, he said- ‘We completed the entire film Hichki in a shift of 28 eight hours. Whether she is queen (Mukherjee), children, cameraman or spot boy, all completed the shooting at that time. This has been happening for many years.

‘Deepika is not asking for anything new …’
The director further said- ‘When I shot with Kajol in 2010, she used to work in an eight-hour shift. She had made it clear that she will either work from 10 am to 6 pm or from 7 am to 2 pm or in eight hours in the night. The queen also did the same. Deepika is not asking for anything new.

‘Publicity named after Deepika Padukone …’
Siddharth finally said- ‘If I need an actor and I am confident that I can complete the film within those hours, then I will work with him for 6 hours a day. This is not just about the actor. People are only getting publicity in the name of Deepika Padukone. She is asking for time for the family, what are they asking for wrong?
