Putin and Trump will meet soon! Kremlin hinted

Trump Putin Bilateral Talk: Russian President Vladimir Putin is ready to meet US President Donald Trump. The Kremlin, the office of the Russian President, has given this information. Due to the war with Ukraine, relations between America and Russia reached their lowest point since the Cold War.

US President Trump has said many times that he can stop the war between the two countries under an agreement. Trump said on Thursday (January 23, 2025) that he would meet Putin “soon” and that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky wants to talk.

What did Russia say?

Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov has said that it is difficult to predict when the Presidents of America and Russia will meet. The Russian spokesperson said, “We are ready for the meeting, waiting for the green signal from the US.”

President Donald Trump said in an interview with Fox News on Thursday, “If he (Putin) does not resolve this war soon, I am going to impose massive tariffs, massive taxes and massive sanctions on Russia.”

Kremlin showed a ‘mirror’ to America

Also speaking at the World Economic Forum in Davos, President Trump had said that he would ask Saudi Arabia and OPEC to reduce oil prices and if the prices were reduced, the Russia-Ukraine war would end immediately.

Regarding Trump’s statement, Kremlin spokesperson said that oil prices do not matter to us in this war. Rather, this war is due to threats to Russia’s national security, threats to Russians living in Ukraine. Apart from this, this war has happened because of the indifference and turning away of America and European countries towards our concerns.
