The BSE Sensex has managed to shut down close to 77000 points with a rise of 4 per cent in the last five trading session, while the assets of investors have also seen a strong increase.

But together, the ongoing decline in the mid -cap and small cap stocks got a break and once again investors made heavy purchases in the mid -cap small cap stocks. As a result, due to the rise in the stock market this week, the property of investors has seen a jump of more than Rs 22 lakh crore.

On March 13, when the stock market was closed, the market capitalization of the stocks listed on BSE was Rs 391.18 lakh crore. But after the three -day holiday, the market opened on March 17, then since then it has been a steady rise. And in the five -day trading session, the market capitalization of the stocks listed on BSE has reached Rs 413.30 lakh crore in a five -day trading session.

Let us tell you that in September 2024, when the Indian stock market touched the allotime high, the market capitalization reached the level of Rs 480 lakh crore. Due to the decline in the market and the selling of foreign investors, the marketcap slipped down to Rs 390 lakh crore. Due to this decline, investors have suffered a loss of about 90 lakh crores. But if foreign investors have started turning to Indian markets again, then the property of investors is also increasing.
