Opposition leader Peter Datton accepted defeat in Saturday’s election and he called and congratulated the Prime Minister for victory. The counting of the final seat is still pending. Prime Minister Narendra Modi On Saturday, congratulated Anthony Albanese on his brilliant victory and being re -elected as the Prime Minister of Australia. PM Modi said that India-Australia is eager to work with Albanese to further intensify the widespread strategic partnership. Albanese became the first Australian Prime Minister to win a three -year term for the second consecutive year in 21 years.

PM Modi posted on X and said that this magnificent mandate reflects the permanent belief of the Australians under your leadership. He said that I India-Australia I am hopeful of working together to further deepen widespread strategic partnership and to carry forward our shared view for peace, stability and prosperity in the Indo-Pacific region.
