We also discussed the mutual relations between India-Myanmar, especially about road and contact, skill development, infrastructure and cooperation in other fields. “

During the meeting, Senior General of Myanmar Aung Having thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for sending fast relief material during the earthquake. He appreciated Operation Brahma and also thanked for the temporary hospital built by India. PM Modi said, “India is always standing with Myanmar’s brothers and sisters in this hour of crisis.” During this, there was talk on connectivity and BIMSTEC cooperation. According to sources, before the meeting, PM Modi expressed deep grief for those who lost their lives in the earthquake. This bilateral meeting lasted for about half an hour.

India’s National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) is engaged in rescue and relief work under ‘Operation Brahma’ in Myanmar. There was a huge devastation in Myanmar after the 7.7 magnitude earthquake on March 28. India once again proved that it always stands together in the difficult time of neighboring countries. India gave necessary assistance to the people affected by the earthquake and played the main role in the relief campaign.
Prime Minister Modi and Thailand’s PM met
Prime Minister Narendra Modi On Thursday, he met Thailand’s Prime Minister Partagatarn Shinavatra. In this bilateral talks, the two leaders discussed further strengthening political relations, defense and security partnership. At the same time, methods of increasing strategic cooperation between the two countries were also talked about. He emphasized the need to increase cooperation in areas like connectivity, health, science and technology, startup, innovation, digital world, education, culture and tourism.
