PM Modi arrives in America on a two -day visit to meet President Trump

PM Modi US Visit: Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi After finishing the 3 -day visit to France, he reached the US on Wednesday (February 12). Where he is going to meet for the first time after Donald Trump became President. After reaching Washington, PM Modi tweeted on X and wrote that I have reached Washington DC shortly before. During this time I will meet US President Donald Trump. Indo-US-America will work to carry forward widespread global strategic partnership. I am very keen for this.

The Ministry of External Affairs gave information about this journey on the social media platform X (East Twitter) and described it as an important step in relations between the two countries. The ministry also said that Prime Minister Modi will also meet the members of the US cabinet and prominent leaders of the industry. Please tell that when PM Modi meets President Trump, he will be the third leader of the world to meet the new US President. The meeting of the Indo-US-US leaders within just one month of Trump’s swearing-in shows the importance of growing relations between the two countries.

Major issues of PM Modi’s visit to America
This journey is not only an opportunity to take bilateral relations to a new height, but will also give a golden opportunity to discuss issues on the US domestic agenda and global trade. The major issues on which talks between the two leaders are going to be held in this tour are as follows.

Personal coordination: Modi-tramp relationship
The personal rapport between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Donald Trump can play an important role in the success of this visit. The two leaders established a deep synergy in 2019 and 2020 during their journeys to each other’s countries. The “Howdy Modi” program held in Houston in 2019 and Trump’s Ahmedabad visit in 2020 are evidence of this relationship. Both leaders are known for strong leadership and economic nationalism. Immigration and exile: a sensitive issue

Business relations between India and America are also an important aspect of this journey. President Trump has accused India of being a “tariff king” and a dispute has arisen between the two countries on the trade fee. The Trump administration has implemented 25 percent tariff on aluminum and steel, which has great impact on Indian companies. Indian companies are concerned about their existence in the American steel market. Modi is planning to negotiate this issue.

India has recently cut tariffs on high-end motorcycles and electric batteries, which can pave the way for talks on trade agreement between the two countries. In addition, Modi can also indicate the possibility of cutting tariffs on goods produced in American Republican states, such as borbon and peckon.

Defense Cooperation: An emerging partnership
Defense cooperation between India and America can also be discussed during this visit. Both countries have been strengthening trade and cooperation of defense equipment in the last few years.
