He tweeted, “President Trump is currently talking to Russia’s President Vladimir Putin at 10:00 am at the Oval Office. The conversation is going well and still continues.” This conversation is taking place to end the ongoing struggle for three years. The war between Russia and Ukraine has killed millions of people, displaced millions of people and ruined many parts of Ukraine.

Donald Trump is trying to convince Putin to formally accept the 30 -day ceasefire agreement. On this, Ukrainian officials agreed last week during a conversation under the US leadership in Saudi Arabia. During this conversation, the leadership was led by External Affairs Minister Marco Rubio. Prior to the phone conversation with Putin, Trump indicated that major infrastructure such as regional control and nuclear power plants would be part of the discussion.

What does Russia want?
