People feast on delicious food in the New Year, food delivery companies become rich


Blinkit-Swiggy Instamart Update: After having fun, people engrossed in New Year celebrations indulged in delicious food. Due to this, online food delivery companies also became very rich. Companies like Blinkit, Zomato and Swiggy collected a lot of orders. The business of these companies reached record high in one day. Swiggy Instamart achieved the biggest order of Rs 70,325 in Central Goa. On the occasion of New Year, Blinkit received the biggest order of Rs 64,988 in Kolkata. As the New Year celebrations progressed, online food delivery platforms also started creating records. Zepto, Blinkit, Swiggy Instamart officials have shared their real-time order statistics on social media.

Blinkit achieves highest number of orders per minute

Blinkit, a Zomato-affiliated company, also achieved records for the highest amount of orders and number of orders received per minute and per hour. Zomato co-founder Albinder Dhindsa said that his platform has seen records being created for delivery partners receiving the most tips. In another social media post, Dhindsa has written that by five in the evening, the record of orders received on the occasion of New Year celebrations of 2023 was crossed. Zepto CEO Adit Palicha also shared on social media how there was a surge in the number of orders on his platform. Zepto received 200 percent more orders than last year.

Swiggy also got huge orders 

Swiggy Instamart also received the highest number of orders till date on Wednesday, 31st December. Which was double compared to last year. Swiggy co-founder Funny Kishan has shared this. Swiggy Instamart CEO Amitesh Jha says that compared to other festivals, his platform has broken the record of orders received even on the occasion of Mother’s Day and Diwali.
