A Pakistani-born influencer who was adopted and raised by Chinese parents announced her marriage to one of her earliest online fans. Fan Zihe, 20, has become a household name on Chinese social media. According to Daxiang Newsshe was discovered abandoned in a cardboard box in Pakistan as an infant before being adopted by a childless Chinese couple working in the country.
Her adoptive parents brought her home to rural Henan province, naming her “Zihe” to symbolize longevity. Despite their modest means, they raised her with deep affection and support.
Fan Zihe’s life took a dramatic turn in late 2023 when a short video of her slurping noodles and praising them in a thick Henan accent went viral, amassing more than 1.4 million likes. The clip showcased not just her striking looks but also the warmth of her family life.
The sudden fame quickly grew into a large following, now over 1.8 million, with fans captivated by her unique blend of Pakistani origins and rural Chinese upbringing.
Since her breakout moment, Fan Zihe has shared daily glimpses of her farm life, often highlighting her adoptive parents and neighbors. She has also built a reputation for supporting her local community by helping villagers sell their produce online.
Her humble authenticity set her apart from the glossy urban influencers that dominate China’s social media, winning her widespread admiration.
Fan Zihe’s Love Story
Among her earliest fans was Lyu Xiaoshuai, who was instantly struck by her “resilience and kindness.” Over time, the two connected through mutual friends and gradually grew closer.
Lyu Xiaoshuai eventually left his job to support Fan’s online career, assisting with video production while also lending a hand on her family’s farm. Their bond deepened, and after three years together, Fan Zihe announced on social media that the couple would marry on September 17.
