
Pakistani Army Chief TTP : Pakistani Army Chief General Asim Munir visited Peshawar on Monday (January 13), where he issued an open threat to the banned terrorist organization Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP). “Any attempt to disturb peace in the country will be crushed with force and power,” the army chief said during his visit to Peshawar.
However, Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has caused huge damage to the Pakistani Army through its attacks. A large number of Pakistan Army soldiers have been killed in TTP attacks. At the same time, TTP has rapidly increased its strength in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa area of Pakistan.
‘No matter what the enemy tries, we will not back down’– military general
During his visit to Peshawar, Pakistan Army Chief General Asim Munir met with leaders of various political parties including Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur and held in-depth discussions on the increasing extremist incidents in the region. The Pakistani Army Chief said, “The enemy may try to spread discord and fear, but we will not back down. The enemy will be responded to sternly. “Such action will be taken against them that their ability to cause harm will be destroyed.”
During this, he also gave information about the ongoing campaign against the terrorist group Fitna al-Khawarij. The Pakistani government and army refer to TTP as Fitna al-Khawarij.
685 soldiers of Pakistan will die in 2024
According to the government report of Pakistan, the year 2024 has proved to be the most fatal for the people and army of Pakistan in the last 10 years. There have been 444 terrorist attacks in Pakistan in 2024. 685 Pakistani security personnel were killed in these attacks. At the same time, a total of 2546 deaths have occurred so far in the country due to extremist violence and 2267 people have been injured. In this, maximum number of 1616 deaths occurred in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. At the same time, 782 deaths were recorded in Balochistan.
