According to Pentagon’s assessment, Pakistan is trying to join the list of those few hostile countries which have the capability to directly attack America. Pakistan’s long-range ballistic missile program is against America’s interests. For this reason, for the first time, America has imposed sanctions on the National Development Complex of Pakistan Government and three companies related to the missile program. Let us tell you that NDC has tried to obtain material to advance Pakistan’s long-range ballistic missile program, which includes special vehicle chassis which is necessary for launch support equipment for ballistic missiles.
America expressed concern over Pakistan’s missile activities
America’s Principal Deputy National Security Advisor John Finer expressed concern over Pakistan’s missile activities in the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace program. Finer said, if this trend continues, Pakistan will have the ability to attack anywhere in South Asia including America. Pakistan is now an emerging threat to America.
India is making weapons keeping China in mind
This year 2024 has seen many new changes regarding regional security in South Asia, as India has tested many new missiles. However, India has developed maximum military capability keeping China in mind. At the same time, despite facing financial crunch, Pakistan is expanding its military capability to compete with India.
