‘PAK will also have to come with strategic stability in South Asia’, said CDS Anil Chauhan

CDS Anil Chauhan on Strategic Stability: India’s Chief of Defense Staff (CDS) General Anil Chauhan has mentioned Pakistan about the strategic stability of South Asia region. He said that Pakistan will also have to come together for strategic stability in South Asia, because clap does not ring with one hand. Anil Chauhan spoke on defense innovation for future challenge

Addressing the Shangri-La Dialogue 2025 in Singapore, Chief of Defense Staff (CDS) General Anil Chauhan said, “India has drawn a new redline against terrorism. In such a situation, Pakistan will learn from this conflict and change the policy on terrorism. The subject of this discussion was ‘Defense Innovation for Future’.

Speaking in a discussion with the top commanders of the armies of several countries, including the US Indo-Pacific Command Commander in the Shangri dialogue, General Chauhan said, “During Operation Sindoor, India went 300 kilometers away in Pakistan by going 300 kilometers away from indigenous weapons and its friendly weapons. It shows India’s capabilities.”

India will prepare its theater command- CDS

The CDS said, “During Operation Sindoor, the three army organs, the Army, Air Force and the Navy used shared intelligence, planning and logistic. Taking lessons from the shortcomings of this operation, India will prepare its theater command. But by how long these theater commands will be ready, it is difficult to give time to time.”

Long -running war affects the development of the country– CDS

He said, “Self-reliance does not mean making all kinds of weapons in India itself. For self-sufficiency in the defense, we will need partnership with friends and country.”

On Thursday (May 29, 2025), in the Shangri-La dialogue, CDS said, “India became rapidly disabled after completing the operation. Because without fighting, the mobilization of the army for a long time is not financially friendly. Long-running war affects the development of the country.”

Operation vermilion Speaking on the damage done during the CDS had said that “no war comes without loss. But it is more important how we are answering to it. CDS said that in just three days we gave a suitable reply to Pakistan and did not increase the war.”
