‘Our relations are so close that there is no need for translation’, President Putin said and PM Modi smiled


India Russia Relations: Prime Minister to participate in BRICS Summit 2024 Narendra Modi Are in Kazan, Russia. During this, he had bilateral talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Regarding the close relations between the two countries, President Putin said that the relations between Moscow and New Delhi have a special privilege and are developing dynamically.

According to the report of India Today, there came a time during the meeting when President Putin expressed the depth of friendship between him and PM Modi. Vladimir Putin said that he feels that Prime Minister Modi will understand what he said even without translation because there are strong relations between the two countries. During the meeting, Putin said, “Our relations are so close that I thought you would understand what I said without translation.” Prime Minister Modi smiled at this.

What did PM Modi say?

Responding to Putin, PM Modi said, “My visit to Russia in the last three months reflects our close coordination and deep friendship. The annual summit held in Moscow in July has strengthened our cooperation in all fields.” India views Russia as a time-tested friend that has played an important role in its economic development and security.

India will support Russia

During this, PM Modi gave assurance to Putin and said that India is ready to help Russia in every possible way. Prime Minister Modi said, “We are in touch with all sides of the Russia-Ukraine problem. We have always believed that all conflicts can be resolved through dialogue. We believe that peaceful resolution of conflicts should be India is always ready to help bring peace.”

The visit to the BRICS summit is Prime Minister Modi’s second visit to Russia this year. He went to Moscow in July to attend the 22nd India-Russia Annual Summit, where he held a bilateral meeting with Putin. He was also awarded Russia’s highest civilian award, the Order of St. Andrew the Apostle, in the Kremlin.
