Under the initiative of the Government of India, to make onion available to the consumers at cheaper rates, onion is being sold at the rate of only Rs 35 per kg. Under this initiative, vegetable vans for onion are currently being provided mainly in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar and their locations have been shared.

Here, onion is being provided at many places in Varanasi, Sonbhadra, Mirzapur which will be available at Rs 35 per kg. These onions will be available at 25 places in Varanasi, while opportunities to buy cheap onions are available at 14 places in Sonbhadra.
