Odisha Police Recruitment Exam postponed, new dates will be released soon

According to reports, the state government has decided to postpone the written examination for the recruitment of Group B posts in the Police Department.

Many candidates had objected to the same day of the recruitment examination of Assistant Agricultural Officer (AAO) and Group B posts on 9 March. He had demanded to postpone at least one examination so that they could appear in both the examinations.

This recruitment campaign is being organized to fill a total of 933 posts in the police department, including 609 sub-inspector, 253 sub-inspector (armed), 47 station officer (fire service) and 24 Assistant Prison Officer.

Candidates will be selected through various stages, including written examination, physical standard testing, physical efficiency test, medical examination and document verification.

Once the new date of examination is fixed, it will be informed to the candidates through the official website. Candidates are advised to check the official website from time to time.
