
National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the new schedule for the UGC-NET exam which was postponed to January 15, 2025. This examination will now be conducted on January 21 and 27, 2025. The examination could not be conducted on the earlier scheduled dates because Pongal, Makar Sankranti and other major festivals were being organized in the country on these dates. Due to this, it was decided to postpone the examination. Now the candidates will get the opportunity to take the exam as per the new schedule. The revised admit cards will soon be made available to the candidates appearing in the examination this time on the official website of UGC NET, ugcnet.nta.ac.in.

This decision was taken due to Pongal, Makar Sankranti and other festivals. On January 13, 2025, the National Testing Agency had issued an official notice in this regard, in which it was said that due to these festivals, the UGC NET December 2024 examination to be held on January 15, 2025, has been postponed. This decision was taken keeping in mind the importance of festivals and the busyness of students these days.

New dates As per, examinations for the following subjects will be conducted on January 21, 2025 in the morning shift (9 am to 12 noon):
- Indian knowledge System
- Malayalam
- Urdu
- Labor Welfare/Personal Management/Industrial Relations/Labor and Social Welfare/Human Resource Management < /li>
- Criminology
- Tribal and regional languages/literature
- Folk literature
- Konkani
- Environmental Science
On 27 January 2025 the examination of the following subjects was conducted in the evening shift (3 to 6 pm) Will go to:
- Sanskrit
- Mass Communication & Journalism
- Japanese
- Performing Arts – Dance/Drama /Theatre
- Electronic Science
- Women’s Studies
- Law
- Nepali

Not yet NTA has released the new admit card. Admit cards will be issued soon on the official website. Then you will be able to download the admit card easily, for this you will have to follow some simple instructions. First of all, they have to visit the official website ugcnet.nta.ac.in. Click on the UGC NET Admit Card download link available on the homepage of the website. After this, they submit their login credentials. After this, UGC NET Admit Card will appear on the screen. Candidates can check their admit card carefully and then download it.
