Now NEET PG exam will be held in the same shift, a big decision of Supreme Court

The Supreme Court has given an important verdict for millions of medical students preparing for NEET PG 2025. The court has said in clear terms that now the examination of NEET PG 2025 will be conducted in only one shift. This decision has been taken with the aim of giving transparency of the exam and giving equal opportunity to all students.

For the last few years, it has been seen that big examinations like NEET PG have been conducted in two different shifts. However, the Supreme Court questioned this system and said that the level of difficulty of questions may be different in the examination conducted in two shifts, which can benefit some students and harm some.

The court said that the difficulty level of any two question papers cannot be considered completely equal. This situation gives rise to inequality and arbitrariness. In such a situation, to do justice to all the students, it is necessary to conduct the examination in the same shift.
