US China Tariff War: Tension has started increasing between the US and China again with the tariff war. US President Donald Trump on Friday (May 30, 2025) accused China that it was completely violating the agreement with the US. He said that China will no longer be ‘Mr. Nice Gai’. Trump posted on Truth social and wrote that China was in serious economic threat two weeks ago. He said that it became almost impossible for China to do business in the world number one United States markets.

Deal was done to save China- Trump

US President Trump said, “We had really improved our relationship with China, which proved to be dangerous for them. There (China) many factories closed and unrest spread among the people. I saw what was happening there and I did not like it. I did a deal to save China from that situation because I could have spoiled the situation further. Because of this deal everything went well and China was traded quickly.”

China violates trade deal- Trump

He said, “This is good news, but the bad news is that China has completely violated its trade deal with us. This is enough to become Mr. Nice Gai.” Shortly after this post of Trump, American Treasury Secretary Scott Besent told in an interview to Fox News that the talks about trade with China have been stopped.

The deal was done between China and America this month

Earlier this month, there was an agreement between the US and China on tariffs, under which it was agreed to temporarily reduce the tariffs imposed for 90 days. In this, the US had decided to reduce tariffs on sugar imports from 145 per cent to 30 per cent and China from 125 per cent to 10 per cent on American goods.
