In a regular press conference, China’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Lynn Gian said, “China’s general economic and energy cooperation with countries around the world including Russia is completely valid, in line with law and nothing is wrong in it.” The spokesperson was asked about the reports that the US has appealed to G-7 and NATO countries to impose additional charges on China as it is buying oil from Russia. Reacting to this, Lynn Gian said, “This is the US’s economic pressure and a unilateral manner, which weakens the international trade regulations and endangens the safety and stability of the global industry and supply chains.”
