Bengaluru is infamous for its heavy traffic, and recently, a man experienced an unexpected moment while stuck in congestion. While his auto-rickshaw remained motionless on the road, he received a safety check message from Rapido, leaving him amused. He took to social media to share the incident, clarifying that he wasn’t in danger—just stuck in traffic on Marathahalli Bridge, a spot notorious for jams.
Posting on X (formerly Twitter), he wrote, “Rapido just asked if I am safe because apparently, my auto hadn’t moved in a while. Brother in Christ, I am not in danger, I’m just on Marathahalli Bridge. Calm down, it’s just a Tuesday.”
Along with his post, he shared a screenshot of Rapido’s alert that said, “We noticed that your vehicle hasn’t moved for some time. At Rapido, your safety comes first. If you need any help, please let us know.”
Many others who came across the post claimed they have often found themselves stuck on the same bridge.
Reacting to the post, a user jokingly wrote, “Reading this while stuck on the Marathahalli Bridge is ironic? Or divine intervention.”
Another shared, “They should check the location before asking.”
“Try walking, you might reach faster like an hour before compared to auto travelling,” a comment read.
Another mentioned, “Uber asked me the same thing two days in a row while I got stuck at Marathahalli.”
An individual shared, “Puch toh sakte na? Thodi toh tension hai in Rapido waalon ki hamaari. Unlike our government who is just winging it as they go. (Can’t they ask? Atleast Rapido guys have a little concern for us).”
One more wonder, “Where do so many people just appear on Tuesdays and it’s always Tuesdays. Mondays have lost the charm.”
Since the post was shared on X, it has garnered over two lakh views.
