After this, Prime Minister Georgio Meloni will reach Bahrain on Monday (January 27).

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman welcomed Italy’s PM Georgia Meloni to Al-Ula city and introduced him to the Saudi culture. In the photographs shared by the Saudi Foreign Ministry, Italian Prime Minister Georgia Meloni was seen sitting on the carpet lying on the ground. At the same time, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman was seen sitting on the other side. There was a discussion about strengthening bilateral relations during a meeting of leaders of both countries in a winter tent in Al-Ula city. At the same time, Crown Prince and PM Meloni also discussed the rebuilding of Syria after the civil war and organizing a ceasefire in Lebanon. Apart from this, both of them also held discussions about Gaza and Yemen as well as the Red Sea.

The two leaders met in Al-Ula’s Beat al-Shar. During this, PM Meloni saw Saudi Arabia’s legacy and culture. At the same time, both also discussed the relationship between Saudi and Italy, opportunities to strengthen cooperation in various fields and regional and international development of mutual interest.

After this meeting, Crown Prince and PM Meloni signed an agreement for the establishment of Saudi-Italy’s Strategic Partnership Council of Saudi-Italy. At the same time, both countries signed a cooperation of $ 10 billion and industrial agreement.

Why did Winter Camp meet?

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman is not just a coincidence to welcome the foreign Prime Minister, President and Foreign Ministers to Al-Ula, but a plan to complete Al-Ula’s vision on tourism. In the year 2023, the Crown Prince launched the Al-Ula Vision to develop Al-Ula as a tourist site in the country. The purpose of this vision is to make Al-Ula a global tourism destination.
