‘No Evidence’: Rippling Co-Founder Prasanna Shuts Down Wife’s ‘Sexual Predator’ Allegations – News18

Prasanna Sarkar recently went public about his legal dispute with his wife, alleging that she abducted their son and violated the custody schedule.

The much-publicised divorce and custody feud between multi-billion dollar start-up Rippling co-founder Prasanna Sarkar and his estranged wife Dhivya Sashidhar has only escalated, with fresh allegations taking centre-stage. After Prasanna’s detailed social media post, leading to the accusations against his wife, Dhivya addressed the matter in a press conference outside a police station. Claiming that Prasanna deceived him by making her travel to India under the guise of a property disguise, Dhivya levelled serious allegations of “sexual misconduct, kidnapping, and prostitution.”

As the claims and counterclaims continue to unfold, with the legal battle gaining much media attention, the Rippling co-founder has once again taken to social media and doubled down on his statements. In a long X thread, Prasanna Sarkar shared screenshots of WhatsApp conversations, emails and legal documents as evidence of their exchanges.

With a screenshot of a WhatsApp conversation with Dhivya, Prasanna countered his wife’s kidnapping claims and wrote, “Primarily the complaint says I kidnapped the child. She says I took him by force and threats. PFA – she instructs voluntarily when we should pick up the child from her house, as per the terms of the MOU custody agreement.”

He also shared an email, showing their lawyers negotiating over the MoU agreement, which Dhivya claimed she was forced to sign. “After many back and forths, a settlement is reached, voluntarily. I have never spoken to her till date, for many mos, after false cases,” he added. Prasanna Sarkar also asserted that a federal court judge had instructed his wife to return their child and that he did not force her to come to India.

In regard to the shocking claims of sexual misconduct and prostitution, the Rippling founder explained that the police never found any evidence in his phone or computers and that he was cleared of all the “fake charges.” He also stated how one can conduct a background check on the US public record to confirm the facts.

“Then she alleges that I committed fraud by transferring matrimonial assets to trusts etc. These are my Rippling shares – a co I co-founded and she had zero involvement in. At a certain level of wealth, everyone does tax & inheritance planning. She signed off on all of these. Now I regret it. As usual files fake complaints everywhere. The issue seems to be, she has nothing to lose at this point. She might have as well said, “Yes I messed up, but I still want public sympathy and his money”. At-least be honest about it,” Prasanna continued.

The businessman went on to reiterate his previously-made requests to secure their son’s passport to stop his wife from “abducting” him and further follow the custody schedule of co-parenting.

Earlier this month, Prasanna Sarkar went public with his ongoing dispute with his wife Dhivya, claiming on X that she was having an affair, which led to their divorce.
