People went to see it because of the story of the film. Congratulations Ho did well at the box office. In the film, Neena Gupta appeared in the role of Ayushmann Khurrana’s mother. Ayushmann Khurana did not want him to be his mother. He refused for Nina Gupta but Nina Gupta did not give up and got the role in the last.

Neena Gupta once went to the quiz reality show Kaun Banega Crorepati. Where he narrated the story related to the film to Amitabh Bachchan. She told how she had gone wearing her cook suit to meet the director.

Nina Gupta is hot for this role
Nina Gupta said- ‘Ayushman did not want him to do this role. Ayushmann said that she does not look like a mother. They are very hot. After which the makers refused to take them. But Nina Gupta did not give up.

Nina Gupta further said- ‘Then Amit called him to his office. Before leaving, I asked his assistant what kind of role is there and what mother should come to wear. Nina wanted to look like that character and cast her. After that she went wearing her cook suit. When she met Amit in this look, she told Amit that she has come wearing her cook suit. After that Amit asked Ayushmann to watch Nina Gupta’s film itching.

Talking about congratulations, Gajraj Rao, Sanya Malhotra were also seen playing an important role with him. The film collected a worldwide 220 crores.
