Will the format of NEET be pen-paper or online?
The Ministry of Education and Health recently announced that discussions are on whether the Medical Entrance Test (NEET UG) 2025 will be held in pen-and-paper mode or Computer-Based Test (CBT). Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said, we are considering the format of the examination in collaboration with the Health Ministry.
So far two rounds of discussions have taken place. Whatever is the better option for NEET, it will be implemented. NEET UG will remain mandatory for these courses also. Through NEET UG, admission will also be taken in courses like BAMS, BUMS, BSMS and BHMS. These guidelines will also be applicable to the courses of Indian System of Medicine and Homeopathy.
When will registration start?
The dates of the registration process for NEET UG 2025 have not been announced yet. The exam syllabus will be based on Physics, Chemistry and Biology of class 11th and 12th. It will be organized in 13 languages. Also, NMC has revised the syllabus of 2025, which candidates can check on the official website of NMC at nmc.org or NTA portal at nta.ac.in.
