In a surprising appearance, the stars were seen attending the wedding of Tamil producer Aakash Baskaran amid the controversy that the duo has been embroiled in. Following their arrival at the wedding, a picture surfaced online which immediately spread like wildfire. What is it about? Well, the picture shows Dhanush and Nayanthara seated in the same row, looking in opposite directions. A look at the picture and one would know that the things were awkward between the two. Ever since being shared, the picture has fans buzzing with excitement, with some of them hailing the individual who made the stars sit in the same row.

Seated on different couches in the same row, Nayanthara appears to be engrossed in a conversation with others whereas Dhanush looks in the opposite direction, seemingly observing what is happening at the wedding function.
In reaction to the photo, fans flooded social media with their comments. Some of them also believed that it was an intentional move to make them sit in the same row. “Lmao so strategically placed and seated! The organisers knew what they were doing”, read one of the comments. Another wrote, “Kitne pass pass phir bhi kitne door door.” An individual added, “Who sat them so close like that LMAO imagine they started fighting in person.”
Nayanthara, in an open letter directed at Dhanush publicly shared on November 16, called him out for not giving her a no-objection certificate for two years to use footage from the 2015 film, Naanum Rowdy Dhaan. The actor’s reluctance to hold the copyright claims made Nayanthara sticking to just a three-second clip from the sets of the movie for her recently released documentary Nayanthara: Beyond the Fairy Tale.
The reason why the clip from the film holds importance? On the sets of the Dhanush production, Nayanthara met her husband, Tamil director Vignesh Shivan and if added to the documentary, the clip would have added a special touch, offering a glimpse into their initial romance. In response to the three-second clip used in the film, Dhanush reportedly slapped Nayanthara with a Rs 10 crore legal feud, prompting a reaction from the actress through a three-page open letter.
