In a harrowing and shocking incident, a woman narrowly escaped after a truck laden with bricks lost control and rolled backward and struck her scooter near Kozhikode Medical College in Kerala.

As per the reports, the incident took place on Friday around 7:30 am on the uphill stretch from Peringalam town to Kozhikode Medical College, near CWRDM. The truck, carrying hollow bricks, suddenly lost control and began rolling backwards.
The woman was riding her scooter behind the truck when it suddenly rolled back and hit her two-wheeler.
Miraculously, she escaped with minor injuries. The truck eventually came to a stop after colliding with a roadside tree.
The truck missed her by inches as she fell to the side. Locals, alarmed by the loud crash, rushed to the scene and quickly took her to a nearby hospital.
The video also shows the co-driver exiting the truck immediately after the incident.
Police are investigating the incident, and a case has been registered. Preliminary reports suggest a possible mechanical failure in the truck’s braking system.
