Police got the clue that after paying for breakfast in Worli through Google Pay, he again reached Dadar station from Worli and from there he caught the train to Thane.
The police was continuously tracing the mobile number from which payment was made through jeep and finally found the location of Thane. Mumbai Police team alerted Thane Police team. Mumbai Police also immediately reached Thane and raided the place where the attacker was. Work of second team of Mumbai Police

This attacker was dropped by a bike rider from Andheri towards DN Nagar. The number of this bike was found through this CCTV footage. Through this bike number, the police reached its owner named Pandey and he was detained and interrogation was started.
Investigation revealed that the person named Pandey, who had dropped him on bike from Andheri to Nagar, had also got him a job in a restaurant in the police station and was known to him. In this way, the operation of 35 police teams for about 60 hours was successful and then this attacker was arrested.

After the attack on Saif Ali Khan, the accused came from Bandra to Dadar and then to the same Skillwork Cafe location in Worli. Police have detained some people from this cafe. Their mobile phones have also been confiscated.
Labor Camp Connection
According to the police statement and information, this attacker had come to Mumbai from Bangladesh and had also worked in building construction here. He had connections with many laborers. Police is still investigating how he reached India from Bangladesh and how he was living here illegally.
