The accused kept changing autorickshaw overnight
Malad police said that after registering the case, about 150 to 200 CCTV cameras installed in shop, installations, hotels, buildings etc. were examined and then it was found that after stealing the bag, the accused caught auto rickshaw and in Kandivali area Went. From there he walked on foot for a few kilometers and then he caught another auto rickshaw from Marwarod.
Kandivali went to the west from where he again walked on foot to Malvani and then reached Charkop area from there to Charkop village. Then the accused caught the third auto rickshaw and landed in Samta Nagar area on the Western Express Highway, he caught the fourth auto rickshaw and reached Versova. In this way, the accused kept changing 4 auto rickshaws one after another and wandering.
The accused was hidden in Jammu and Kashmir
During the investigation, it was found that the accused was hiding in Jammu and Kashmir, after which a team of Mumbai Police reached Jammu and Kashmir for 2 days and then he was arrested.
After arresting the accused, when his house was searched, the police received cash of Rs 34 lakh 1500 from there, while the accused had bought a 2,87,000 iPhone and laptop, he also seized it. In this case, Mumbai Police is in search of the remaining amount, the accused was produced before the court where the court has sent him to the police custody.
