Hussain Ibn Ali was the grandson of Muhammad, who was born in 620 AD. Hussain had all the qualities of his grandfather. Growing up, Hussain also became a leader like Dada who became widely known for his compassion, intelligence and honesty. When Muhammad died, the Islamic Empire was in danger after some time. Hussain saw that Khalifa Yazid started ruling his interests in mind and in this way Muhammad’s Islamic teachings gradually ended.

The battle of Karbala started in the afternoon and gradually the number of Hussain’s companions began to decrease. Hussain fell alone while in the evening. Despite being tired, thirsty and injured, he did not give up and remained adamant on his principles till his last breath.
After this, Yajid’s army surrounded Hussain and attacked Hussain, killing Hussain. The day Yazid ordered his men to kill Hussain, it was the 10th day of the first month (Muharram) of the Islamic calendar. This day is known as the day of Ashura.
