A cow climbed to the fourth floor of a building in Lucknow, causing panic among locals. The Lucknow civic body safely rescued the cow after being alerted by corporator Rizvi.

Panic erupted among locals after a cow climbed up to the fourth floor of a building in Lucknow on Monday. The bovine was safely brought down after an alert sent by people to a local corporator.
According to news agency PTI, the unusual incident was reported near Manju Tandon dhaal in Ali Colony (Malaahi Tola-2 ward).
A video of the incident is doing rounds on social media. The video was shared by an individual who goes by the name @SantoshGaharwar on X.

After spotting the cow on the fourth floor, residents living near the structure were afraid that the cow may fall on them.
The locals apprised corporator Gulshan Abbas Rizvi of the incident, who then called the Lucknow Municipal Corporation to bring the cow down.
“No one knows how the cow climbed up to the fourth floor,” PTI quoted corporator Rizvi as saying. According to the civic body, the sight of a full-grown cow so high up alarmed the people.
Thereafter, the Animal Welfare Officer of the LMC, Dr Abhinav Verma, was also informed who then dispatched a cattle-catching squad, which brought the cow down.
“Not only was the cow brought down safely, but the entire process was conducted in a controlled manner to prevent panic or any accident in the area,” LMC said in a statement.
Later, the bovine was sent to a gaushala of the civic body.
“The LMC team remains actively responsive to such cases and consistently ensures the safety of animals in distress,” Verma said in a statement, as quoted by PTI.
